Digitimes reported that the new iPad Mini would actually come with a 7.85-inch display - IGZO display panels, which are capable of delivering a retina-quality display.

One source reckons it will be just 8GB of internal storage - the same amount as the smaller Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire. Japanese blog Macotakara cites an unknown source, claiming the iPad Mini will be 7.2mm thick and would come with 3G functionality.

The iPad Mini has gained a lot of speculation from all kinds of sources. The truth is that Apple has never said a single thing, so it is definitely weird how there are thousands of different people saying a certain thing that may or may not be as true as they say. Steve Jobs once outlined that being in the smaller tablets may not be a great choice for the Apple brand to go down, so there are still small chances that the entire company will go down this route if their famous late boss once said that it wasn't where the Apple brand should be.

Only time will tell before Apple truly decides to release such a product to the public. There are very few true sources, but the majority of them are simply there to help increase the amount of rumors and bring about more speculation among Apple fans.
